baitcasting reel suggestions X-Series Low Profile Baitcast Retrieve:RIGHT HAND and Speed Keeper hook brand:penn Picked up an Abu

Picked up an Abu Ambassadeur 5000D (1974) from an antique store in town. Any tips to get this spring chicken back to work? : r/Fishing_Gear

I will post mine sometime when I'm posting from my phone (where all the photos reside) - a Raleigh Sprite 27 frankenbike with a Sturmey S5 IGH and dynohub

brand:penn

Retrieve:RIGHT HAND

The reel is nothing more than a mechanism to retrieve a line or hold the line

and Speed Keeper hook keeper will easily propel the Custom Pro to the top spot in your line up.
